Concrete Taxi doesn’t follow the traditional dump-and-go approach of regular concrete trucks. With our free-supplied wheelbarrows, you can easily transport and lay the concrete, making it simpler and more cost-effective than buying and transporting it yourself. How long does the concrete take to set?

Usually, you will have between 2-3 hours once the concrete arrives on your job to place, level, compact and finish the mix.

I need wheelbarrows, do you have any?

Yes we do. We supply two wheel barrows free of charge on all of our trucks.

What if I use a little less or I need a little more?

No problem! We mix on site as we go so if you need to change the amount of concrete a little, we can do that.

What is the size of your trucks?

Our trucks are 2.6 metres wide, including extended mirrors, and 2.4 metres with the mirrors folded.  The height of the truck is 2.8 metres.

Do you have a minimum quantity surcharge?

No we don’t. We charge in increments of 0.1 of a metre. We supply concrete deliveries as small as 1 barrow.  

Do we operate 24/7?

Yes we do. We operate 24 hours 7 days a week. Any booking between the hours of 4pm – 7am will incur a $600 surcharge on-top of the usual rate. You can arrange an after hours booking with our call centre team. 

Are there any Saturday surcharges?

No! We don’t have any additional surcharges on Saturdays. This ensures that we allocate for those who don’t have enough time in the week to do their concrete projects.

What is the minimum amount of concrete I can order?

Our trucks can deliver anywhere from 0.1m³ up to 2.0m³ of ready mix concrete.

What is the maximum amount of concrete I can order?

Our trucks can deliver anywhere from 0.1m³ up to 2.0m³ of ready mix concrete. However, for specialised jobs we can arrange for several trucks to facilitate your needs.

How do I pay?

On completion of the job you pay the driver direct via cash or card. Unfortunately as we are a Franchise, some of our Franchisee’s may or may not be able to take payment via American Express.

Do you carry accelerant?

Yes we do. Our trucks carry Sika Set or Rapidard brand accelerants. Please advise our call centre when make your booking. 

How much time do I need prior to making a booking?

We can sometimes arrange for your booking on the same day. However, to guarantee your preferred time, we recommend calling at least 24 hours in advance. 

Do we work on public holidays?

Yes we do. However, on public holidays, a $200 public holiday surcharge will occur on top of the usual rate.
